What is charas?

Charas is one of the oldest forms of cannabis resin in the world. Unlike sifted hash, it is made by rubbing live cannabis plants by hand: the sticky resin collects on the palms and is slowly rolled into dark, glossy balls or sticks. The technique comes from the Himalayan foothills — the valleys of northern India and Nepal — where it has been practised for generations.

Aroma & texture
