Our story
Spliff started out as an online shop in Montpellier. We have no store of our own. Across Europe, 1,500+ partner shops stock our products. Online and through these partners, we have 100,000+ customers.
Today, Spliff sells through eight websites: France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Poland, plus a European website in English. The catalogue is adapted to each country.

Editorial standards
Our guides and articles answer the questions our customers ask about hemp, CBD and our products. Here is how they are prepared and checked before publication.
- SourcesEvery factual statement rests on a source cited in the article: a scientific publication, a public body or an official document, or Spliff data (our lab tests, our catalogue, our customers’ reviews). We check that each source is accessible and that it really says what the article attributes to it. If a source does not hold up, the sentence is removed.
- FactsFigures, dates and product characteristics are checked against their source or our product sheets. A figure with no origin is not published.
- ComplianceNo article promises a health effect, addresses minors or attributes an unproven composition to a product. An article that fails these checks is not published.
- UpdatesThe ‘updated on’ date reflects a revision of the content. A simple layout tweak does not change it.
- BylinesArticles are signed with a pen name and published under the editorial responsibility of Spliff (OLAB). Editor in charge: Bertrand Thomas.
- CorrectionsTo report a mistake, go through the Support tab of your Club, or the contact page if you are not a customer. If the article needs correcting, the correction is made and the update date changes.
