What is Purple Haze?
Purple Haze is a name that belongs to cannabis history: a sativa-leaning line that rose to fame in the late 1960s and was immortalised in song. The purple colouring comes from anthocyanins, the same pigments found in blueberries. Our Purple Haze is a CBD selection grown hydroponically, which gives a clean, consistent flower with the berry-and-flower nose the name is known for.
Aroma & terpene profile
A berry and floral profile like this one is typically driven by myrcene, the earthy, slightly musky terpene that also scents ripe mango, together with linalool for the floral, lavender-like side and a touch of caryophyllene for a peppery finish. These are the terpenes usually associated with this kind of nose, not a measurement of any given batch: the lab analysis of each lot is the only reliable reference.
CBD flower vs THCX version
Purple Haze also exists in our THCX range, as Purple Haze THCX. What carries over from one version to the other is the aromatic identity: berries, flowers, that lemony edge. What does not carry over is the effect. This flower is a 17% CBD product; the THCX range is designed to reproduce effects close to THC, and the only verifiable fact about it is the batch analysis. Storage
