What is OG Kush?

OG Kush is a Californian classic from the 1990s, generally described as a cross of Chemdawg × Lemon Thai × Pakistani Kush, indica-dominant. The word Kush refers to the Hindu Kush, the mountain range whose landrace varieties gave the family its name and its dense, resinous structure. As for OG, several etymologies compete (Ocean Grown, Original Gangster, and others) and none is firmly established, so we will not pretend to settle it.
